Pumpkin pie may not have a top crust, but that doesn’t mean you can’t add a few embellishments. I love these with leaves, pumpkins, and cranberry decorations.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!
Thank you!!
How do you get your leaves and decorations to hold the shape when the pie is being baked??
Hi Savannah! I usually freeze the leaves for 5 minutes or so before I add them to the pie. I find that helps them preserve their shape when baking. I also like to brush them with an egg wash when the pie is almost done cooking to give the leaves that nice golden brown look. (Similar to how you brush a lattice crust topping with an egg wash!) Good luck!
Beautiful pies!
Thank you! Happy fall!
