Anyone else feel like all the days are running together lately?
I’ve mixed up Wednesdays with Mondays and Fridays with Tuesdays. And when telling a story everything happened “last week” when it actually happened in March.
Truly, there is no rhyme or reason.
I’ve found the easiest way to distinguish the first half of the week with the second half is a fun at home happy hour. So I’ve been brushing up on my mixology skills.
I do have a confession to make before we dive in: I broke my cocktail shaker the other day. I have a new one on it’s way, but I had to improvise today. The marg still turned out delicious. No shaker, no problem.
If you like the combo of sweet & spicy in your cocktails, this Spicy Watermelon Margarita is for you. You can increase or decrease the spice level to your liking. If you hate spicy, ditch the chili powder and jalapeños. It will still be delicious. Or use your tequila to make this paloma instead.
And for good measure, I have to share this watermelon pun that made me LOL. Enjoy…
