But truthfully, what could be bad about a White Claw slushie?
Let me tell you…absolutely nothing. It’s glorious. Refreshing, ice cold, fruity, boozy. The list goes on.
If you close your eyes you’ll feel like you’re on a beach in Mexico. Until you open them and you’re sitting on your couch in leggings and the same messy bun you’ve had in for three days…but you’re holding a White Claw slushy so it’s all good.
I don’t have an actual blender at my apartment (because *tiny* apartment problems) so I used my immersion blender with frozen strawberries and mini ice cubes and it produced the perfect slushie/icee texture.
I got my mini ice cube trays from our wedding registry and they’re clutch. They have a few different versions on Amazon too. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, anything mini is adorable. Including ice cubes.
There is lots of flexibility in the recipe. Honestly, you don’t even need a recipe (just don’t go overboard on the vodka). It’s three simple steps:
- Pick your favorite White Claw flavor (mango in my house, hands down).
- Grab frozen fruit, ice cubes and vodka.
- Put it all in a blender/food processor/immersion blender. And boom. You’ve got yourself a deliciously boozy slushy.
