- Fresh salmon fillets (wild-caught if possible)
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: Herbs such as dill, thyme, or rosemary for added flavor
- Lemon juice
Set your grill's temperature to medium-high.
Using paper towels, gently pat dry the salmon fillets.
Add salt and pepper to the fillets after brushing them with olive oil on both sides.
On the grill, place the salmon skin-side down. Cook the salmon on the grill for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked through and flake easily with a fork.
If desired, scatter chopped herbs on top of the salmon and spray it with lemon juice during the final minute of grilling.
Before serving, take the salmon from the grill and let it a few minutes to rest.
