Ingredients
  

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese (8-10 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or pecans)
  • 1/4 cup dried fruits (apricots, cranberries, or figs)
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Adjust the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and place parchment paper on a baking pan.
  • Using a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to the desired size for your brie wheel.
  • The center of the pastry sheet should include the brie wheel.Evenly cover the top of the brie with honey.
  • Over the honey, scatter the chopped nuts and dried fruits.Seal the brie completely by folding the puff pastry edges over it.
  • To give the pastry a golden sheen, brush it with beaten egg. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is oozy and the crust is golden brown.
  • To serve, let it cool somewhat. If desired, garnish with fresh herbs.
