Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups vital wheat gluten
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Your Oven:Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the Seitan Dough:In a mixing bowl, combine vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. In a separate bowl, mix vegetable broth and soy sauce. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and knead until a dough forms.
  • Shape and Arrange: Shape the seitan dough into your desired form, whether loaves, cutlets, or nuggets. Place them in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake to Perfection:Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown
  • Serve and Enjoy:Let the baked seitan cool slightly before serving. Pair it with your favorite sides for a wholesome meal.
