- 4 heads of bok choy
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chili flakes for added heat
Wash the bok choy thoroughly under cold running water and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel.
Cut off the ends of the bok choy and separate the leaves.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the bok choy leaves to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until wilted.
Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the bok choy and toss to coat evenly.
Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes if desired.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Serve hot as a delicious side dish to your favorite Asian-inspired meal.
