The chipotle peppers, minced garlic, olive oil, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a blender or food processor.
Blend the marinade until it's smooth.
Pour the chipotle marinade over the chicken breasts in a mixing bowl, making sure to coat them completely.
Refrigerate the marinade for at least 30 minutes (marinating overnight can intensify the flavors).Turn the heat up to medium-high on your stovetop pan or grill. To keep it from sticking, lightly oil the grill or pan.
The marinated chicken breasts should be cooked for 6–7 minutes on each side, or until a meat thermometer registers 165°F inside the chicken.
After cooking, take the chicken off of the pan or grill and let it to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with your choice of sides like rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
