Ingredients
  

  • 1 9-inch pie crust (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream or ice cream for serving (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).Melt the butter and chocolate chips in a skillet over low heat, stirring regularly until smooth.
  • Take it off the fire and let it to cool a little. Mix together the sugar, vanilla extract, beaten eggs, flour, and salt in a mixing dish. Blend thoroughly.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl with the other ingredients little by little, stirring to make sure everything is well mixed.
  • Evenly distribute the mixture after pouring it into the pie shell.The pie should bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the middle is set, in a preheated oven.
  • Before serving, take the pie out of the oven and let it to cool on a wire rack for at least two hours.
  • Present chocolate pie slices beside ice cream or whipped cream.
