  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3. First Rise:Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  • 4. Shape the Donuts:Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to about ½-inch thickness. Use a donut cutter or cookie cutters to create your donut shapes. Place them on a baking sheet and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
