- 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the cod fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the fillets, making sure to coat them evenly.
Place a slice of lemon on top of each fillet.
Bake the cod in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Once cooked, remove the cod from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve the cod hot with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
