- 8 oz. crab meat, drained and flaked
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place about a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrappers with water, then fold them over diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully drop the Crab Rangoon into the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the cooked Crab Rangoon from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
