- 500g bread flour
- 10g salt
- 7g instant yeast
- 350ml warm water
Mix the flour, salt, and instant yeast together in a mixing basin.
Add the warm water little by little while mixing until a dough forms.
On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for ten minutes or so, or until it is elastic and smooth.
After the dough has doubled in size, place it in a basin that has been oiled, cover it with a moist cloth, and let it rise for one to two hours.
Turn the oven on to 220°C (425°F) and heat a baking tray inside.
After the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air and form it into a baguette or any other shape you like.
Using a sharp knife, score the top of the formed dough and place it onto the heated baking tray.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until crusty and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
