Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of chopped dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, apricots)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a dough forms.
