Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of xanthan gum (for texture)
  • 1 large egg
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Activate the Yeast
    In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
  • Step 2: Combine Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free all-purpose flour, xanthan gum, and salt.Add the activated yeast mixture, olive oil, and beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Step 3: Knead the Dough
    Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until it's smooth and elastic.
  • Step 4: Shape the Buns
    Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into round bun shapes.Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 5: Let It Rise
    Cover the buns with plastic wrap and let them rise for about 30 minutes, or until they've doubled in size.
  • Step 6: Preheat and Bake
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).If desired, brush the buns with a beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.Bake for 15-18 minutes until the buns are golden brown.
  • Step 7: Cool and Serve
    Allow the gluten-free hamburger buns to cool on a wire rack.Slice them in half and use them to create your favorite burgers!
