  • Sausage stuffer (if making links)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of ground pork
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork with all the spices and herbs.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring an even distribution of flavors.
  • If you're making links, soak the sausage casings in warm water for 30 minutes, then rinse them to remove excess salt.
  • Carefully slide the sausage mixture into the casings, tying knots at the ends to form individual sausages. If you prefer patties, simply shape them by hand.
  • Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add a touch of oil, and cook the sausages until they're browned on all sides and fully cooked.
