- 12 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 cups of white vinegar
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1 tablespoon of pickling spice
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Begin by hard-boiling a dozen eggs. This will take about 12-15 minutes.
While the eggs are boiling, prepare the pickling mixture. Combine white vinegar, water, sugar, pickling spice, red pepper flakes, and salt in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Once the eggs are done boiling, peel them and place them in a large glass jar or airtight container.
