Ingredients
  

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 cups of white vinegar
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of pickling spice
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Instructions
 

  • Begin by hard-boiling a dozen eggs. This will take about 12-15 minutes.
  • While the eggs are boiling, prepare the pickling mixture. Combine white vinegar, water, sugar, pickling spice, red pepper flakes, and salt in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • Once the eggs are done boiling, peel them and place them in a large glass jar or airtight container.
  • Pour the hot pickling mixture over the eggs, ensuring they are fully submerged. Let it cool to room temperature.
  • Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, allowing the flavors to meld.
