Ingredients
  

  • 12 fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 slices of bacon, cut in half widthwise
  • Toothpicks

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, pressing it in firmly.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Allow the jalapeño poppers to cool for a few minutes before serving.
