Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Mix the Base
    In a medium saucepan, combine the low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced ginger, and minced garlic.
  • Step 2: Create the Thickening Agent2. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until you achieve a smooth paste.
  • Step 3: Thicken the Sauce3. Heat the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Slowly add the cornstarch paste while whisking continuously. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency, usually within 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the sesame oil. Let it cool before transferring it to an airtight container for storage.
