Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • Water (as needed for desired consistency)

Instructions
 

  • Peanut butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using) should all be combined in a mixing bowl.
  • Stir in coconut milk gradually until desired consistency is reached. If the sauce seems too thick, add more water.
  • After transferring the mixture to a saucepan, heat it over medium-low heat while stirring constantly to ensure it is well heated and mixed.
  • Before serving, take the sauce off of the heat source and let it to cool a little.
