Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound (450g) of Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup (240ml) of milk
  • 1 can (10 ounces) of diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • Optional toppings: diced jalapeƱos, chopped cilantro, or crumbled cooked bacon

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cubed Velveeta cheese and milk. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the diced tomatoes with green chilies, cumin, and chili powder to the melted cheese mixture. Stir well to combine.
  • Continue to cook the queso for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and well blended.
  • Once the queso is hot and bubbly, remove it from the heat and transfer it to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with your choice of toppings, such as diced jalapeƱos, chopped cilantro, or crumbled cooked bacon.
  • Serve the queso warm with tortilla chips or your favorite dipping accompaniment.
