- 2 pounds of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound of baby potatoes, halved
- 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds
- 1 pound of smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 lemons, halved
- 4 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Pour water into a big stockpot and heat it until it boils. To the boiling water, add the lemons, onions, garlic, paprika, and Old Bay seasoning.
Cook the sausage and potatoes in the pot for ten minutes or so.
Cook the corn for a further five minutes after adding it to the stew.
The shrimp should now be added to the pot and cooked for 3–4 minutes, or until they are opaque and pink.
Spoon the cooked items onto a serving plate using a slotted spoon. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
