Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups long-grain rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon saffron threads (optional for an authentic touch)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Start off this recipe by heating olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Next, Sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  • Next, add bell pepper and cook until softened.
  • After that, stir in rice, ensuring it's well-coated with the vegetable mixture.
  • Pour in tomato sauce, chicken or vegetable broth, paprika, saffron (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  • Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
