1 (10-ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 packet (1.4 ounces) vegetable soup mix
1 can (8 ounces) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 loaf of bread or crackers, for serving
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed and drained spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, vegetable soup mix, chopped water chestnuts, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well combined.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, give the dip a final stir and transfer it to a serving bowl. Garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.
Serve the spinach dip with slices of bread, crackers, or vegetable sticks for dipping.
