- Fresh Strawberries: 2 cups (hulled and sliced)
- Lemons: 6 large (juiced, approximately 1 cup of juice)
- Sugar: ¾ cup (adjust to taste)
- Water: 4 cups (divided)
- Ice: Optional, for serving
- Mint Leaves: Optional, for garnish
Prepare the Strawberries:Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into smaller pieces. Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor.
Blend:Add 1 cup of water to the strawberries and blend until smooth. This creates a strawberry puree.
Strain:Pour the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spoon to press the puree to extract as much juice as possible, leaving behind the seeds.
Juice the Lemons:Roll the lemons on the countertop to loosen their juice, then cut them in half and juice them using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice to remove any seeds.
Combine Ingredients:Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher with the strawberry juice. Stir in the sugar until it dissolves.
Add Water:Pour the remaining 3 cups of water into the pitcher and mix well. Taste and adjust the sugar or water as needed.
Serve:Add ice to glasses and pour in the strawberry lemonade. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of elegance. Enjoy!
