Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
Use cooking spray or butter to grease a baking dish.After peeling and cored, cut the apples into thin wedges.
Transfer them into a mixing basin.Combine the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
After uniformly coating the cut apples, sprinkle this mixture over them and toss.
Spread out the coated apples equally in the baking dish that has been prepared.
Brown sugar, rolled oats, all-purpose flour, and a small teaspoon of salt should all be combined in a different bowl.
Blend thoroughly.
To the flour mixture, add the cooled butter cubes.
To get a crumbly texture, cut the butter into the dry ingredients using a fork or pastry blender.
Entirely cover the apples in the baking dish with the crumb mixture.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Remove the apple crumble from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
