Ingredients
  

  • 4 cod fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Place the cod fillets in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced apart.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the cod fillets, then sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper evenly.
  • Arrange lemon slices on top of the cod fillets and sprinkle chopped parsley over them for added freshness.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once done, remove the foil and broil the cod for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the top slightly.
  • Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
