Baking dish
Aluminum foil
Oven
- 4 cod fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
Place the cod fillets in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced apart.
Drizzle olive oil over the cod fillets, then sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper evenly.
Arrange lemon slices on top of the cod fillets and sprinkle chopped parsley over them for added freshness.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Once done, remove the foil and broil the cod for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the top slightly.
Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
