Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Apply cooking spray to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish to grease it.
  • Frozen hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper should all be combined in a big mixing dish.
  • Blend until thoroughly blended. Fill the baking dish with the ingredients and spread it evenly.
  • Melt the butter in a another bowl and toss in the crushed cornflakes until well covered.
  • Over the top of the cheesy potato mixture, sprinkle the cornflake mixture.Bake for 45 to 1 hour, or until the potatoes are cooked through and the top is golden brown, in a preheated oven.
  • Before serving, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool somewhat.
