For the Sauce:

For the Stir-Fry:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper (red or green), thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Prepare the NoodlesBring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the Chow Mein noodles and cook according to the package instructions (typically 3-4 minutes).Drain the noodles and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Toss them with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking. Step 2: Make the SauceIn a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and the cornstarch slurry.Set the sauce aside.
