Equipment

  • Non-stick frying pan
  • Toaster or grill
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast: 2 medium-sized pieces, cooked and shredded or grilled
  • Bacon: 4 slices, cooked until crispy
  • Lettuce: 4 large leaves
  • Tomato: 1 large, sliced thinly
  • Cheddar cheese: 2 slices (optional)
  • Mayonnaise: ¼ cup
  • Butter: 2 tablespoons, softened
  • Bread: 6 slices (white, whole wheat, or multigrain, as per preference)
  • Salt and pepper: To taste
  • Optional toppings: Avocado slices, pickles, or mustard

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Cook the chicken breasts by grilling or boiling them until tender. Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Fry the bacon slices in a non-stick pan until crispy. Place them on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.
Wash the lettuce leaves and pat them dry. Slice the tomato thinly.
  • Step 2: Toast the Bread
Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
Toast the bread in a pan or toaster until golden brown.
  • Step 3: Assemble the Sandwich
    First Layer:
Spread mayonnaise evenly over one slice of toasted bread.
Add a layer of shredded chicken, followed by a slice of tomato and a leaf of lettuce.
    Second Layer:
Place another slice of toasted bread on top and spread mayonnaise on it.
Add crispy bacon slices and cheddar cheese (if using). You can also add optional toppings like avocado slices for extra flavor.
    Final Layer:
Top with the last slice of bread, mayonnaise side down. Secure the sandwich with toothpicks if needed.
  • Step 4: Cut and Serve
Using a sharp knife, cut the sandwich diagonally into halves or quarters.
Serve with a side of potato chips, fries, or a fresh salad.
