- 2 cans of chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 1 small onion, roughly chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic
- A handful of fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Cooking oil for frying
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Blend until a coarse paste forms.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add flour and baking powder, and mix well.
