- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a mixing dish.
Mixing until a dough forms, gradually add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
Work the dough for three to five minutes on a floured surface, or until it is smooth.
Separate the dough into little balls that resemble golf balls.Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a thin, circular tortilla.
Each tortilla should be cooked for one to two minutes on each side, or until it is softly puffed and golden.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.Work with the remaining dough balls in the same manner.
