Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Measuring cups
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Serving bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 1 container (16 oz) sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
  • 1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Spinach: Thaw the frozen chopped spinach and drain it well. Squeeze out as much excess water as possible using your hands or a clean kitchen towel.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir until well blended.
  • Add Seasoning: Add the Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix to the sour cream and mayonnaise mixture. Stir until the seasoning mix is fully incorporated.
  • Chop Water Chestnuts and Green Onions: On a cutting board, chop the water chestnuts into small pieces and slice the green onions. Add these to the mixture in the bowl.
  • Add Spinach: Add the drained spinach to the mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  • Chill the Dip: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. This chilling time allows the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve: After chilling, give the dip a quick stir and serve it with your choice of dippers such as crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables.
