- 1 pound (500g) beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 3 medium potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red onion, sliced into wedges
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced into wedges
- 1 yellow ají pepper (or substitute with jalapeño), thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
