  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Fork or whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (optional, for flavor)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, and heat for another 30 seconds if needed until the mixture is smooth and melted.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly with a fork or your hands until a dough forms.
  • Divide the dough into six equal portions. Roll each portion into a log, then form a circle to create a bagel shape. Place the bagels onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning over the tops of the bagels.
  • Bake the bagels in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
