Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • 1. Sift and Mix Dry Ingredients:In a bowl, sift together almond flour, powdered sugar, and matcha powder.
  • 2. Whisk Egg Whites:Using an electric mixer, whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue whipping until glossy peaks form.
  • 3. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients:Gently fold the dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites until a smooth batter forms.
  • 4. Pipe and Rest:Pipe small circles onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Let the macarons rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  • 5. Bake:Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and bake the macarons for 12-15 minutes or until they lift easily from the parchment paper.
  • 6. Cool and Fill:Allow the macarons to cool completely before filling with your favorite ganache or buttercream.
