Ingredients
  

  • 5 pounds ground meat (a mix of beef and pork for the perfect flavor)
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
