Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, beating until well combined.
  • Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mi

  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
