Ingredients
  

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Turn the oven on to 375°F, or 190°C.
  • Crimp the edges of the pie dough after placing it in the pie dish.Beat the eggs, heavy cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until thoroughly blended.
  • Evenly distribute the shredded Swiss cheese and bacon around the pie dough.
  • Cover the cheese and bacon with the egg mixture.
  • The quiche should be baked for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the middle is set.
  • Before slicing and serving, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
