Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of sourdough starter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ¾ cup of lukewarm water

Instructions
 

  • Mixing and Kneading:
    In a bowl, combine flour and salt.Add sourdough starter, olive oil, and lukewarm water.Knead until you achieve a smooth, elastic dough.
  • Rising:
    Allow the dough to rise in a covered bowl for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
  • Dividing and Shaping:
    Divide the dough into six equal portions.Shape each portion into a ball and roll it into a flat, round disc.
  • Cooking:
    Preheat the skillet or griddle over medium heat.Cook each pita for 2-3 minutes on each side until it puffs up and develops a golden-brown color.
