Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (you can use plant-based milk as well)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Optional: Vanilla extract for an extra kick

Instructions
 

  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a bowl, combine spelt flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Create Batter:
    In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring until just combined.
  • Preheat Griddle: Heat your griddle or skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour Batter:
    Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  • Serve:
    Stack those golden beauties on a plate and serve with your favorite toppings – maple syrup, fresh fruits, or a dollop of yogurt.
