Ingredients
  

Dough:

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Filling:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb sliced ham
  • 1/2 lb sliced salami
  • 1/2 lb sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup sautéed mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (optional)

Topping:

  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190° C).Prepare the dough.On a lightly floured board, lay out the pizza dough into a large rectangle about 10x14 inches.
  • Add the sauce:Spread the pizza sauce evenly on the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the borders.Layer the fillings:Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
  • Distribute the sliced ham, salami, and pepperoni evenly over the cheese.If desired, add sautéed mushrooms and sliced bell peppers.
  • Roll the dough.Roll the dough into a tight log starting with the long side.Pinch the edges to seal, then tuck the ends under.
  • Prepare to bake:Place the stromboli, seam side down, on a baking sheet coated with paper.
  • Brush the top with beaten egg, then sprinkle with dried oregano and garlic powder
  • .Bake:Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve:Allow the stromboli to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
