  • 1 tablespoon of freshly chopped chives: Adds a mild onion flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons of minced garlic cloves: For that irresistible garlic kick.
  • A pinch of kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper: To season the fish.
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice: Brightens up the flavors.
  • 1 tablespoon of grated lemon peel: Zesty and aromatic.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil: For pan-searing.
  • 2 Swordfish fillets

Instructions
 

  • Towel-Dry the Swordfish: To eliminate more moisture, pat the swordfish fillets dry.
  • Season with Salt and Pepper: Season the fish on both sides with freshly ground black pepper and kosher salt.
  • Roast the Swordfish on a Pan:Place a skillet that is ovenproof over medium-high heat
  • .Spread a spoonful of olive oil on it.For a few minutes, brown the fish on one side.
  • After flipping the fish, place the skillet in a preheated oven.Cook, stirring occasionally, until just done, about 5 minutes.
  • Get the Lemon-Garlic Mixture Ready:Mix softened butter, chopped chives, grated lemon peel, and minced garlic.
  • Spread this aromatic mixture over the swordfish that has been cooked.Arrange the swordfish on a platter and pour some lemon juice over it. I
  • If desired, garnish with additional lemon zest.
