Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk (almond, soy, or coconut)
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas and mix with melted coconut oil, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips if desired.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
