- 1 pound ground venison
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground venison, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small patties, using about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture for each patty.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
Place the venison sausage patties in the skillet and cook for approximately 5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
Remove the sausages from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
