Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Blender or food processor (optional for smoother sauce)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (optional, for desired consistency)

Instructions

  • Mayonnaise, tomato paste, melted butter, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion and garlic powders, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and a dash of salt should all be combined in a mixing dish.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly by whisking them together. Move the ingredients to a food processor or blender and process until smooth if you want a smoother sauce.
  • After tasting the sauce, taste again and adjust the seasoning to your taste. You can increase the sweetness or spiciness by adding extra sugar or cayenne pepper.
  • You can thin out too-thick sauce by adding a small amount of water to make it the right consistency.
  • To make distributing the Yum Yum Sauce easier, transfer it to a serving bowl or squeeze bottle.
